PERFORMER: WOODWINDS & CONTEMPORARY/ELECTRONIC

Dr. Svanoe can often be found performing on single reed woodwinds in a variety of performing ensembles. As a clarinetist, her studio teachers have included James Pyne at Ohio State, Babette Belter at Oklahoma State, and Richard Fletcher at UW–Eau Claire. She doubles on flute and saxophone, and is a founding member of the MIDiots Contemporary Electronic Music Ensemble on EWI (electronic wind instrument).
