PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Conduct The Augsburg Concert Band, a concert band with approximately 50% music majors. Coach woodwind chamber ensembles. Teach Basic Conducting, Introduction to Music in the Fine Arts, and other courses as assigned by the department. Coordinate the Honor Band Festival.

Create and teach arts integrated curriculum with a collaborating elementary classroom teacher.

Conduct the Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band as well as manage all administrative aspects of BSU Bands. Direct and organize the campus “Red Line Swingers” pep band. Teach instrumental techniques, instrumental arranging, single reed techniques, conducting classes, clarinet lessons, student teacher observation and other music courses as assigned by the department. Teach and administrate summer music camp. Assist with departmental duties including recruiting, department assessment committee, NASM review and co-advising of C-MENC.

Conduct the Collegiate Winds (a concert band with approximately 80% music majors). Guest conduct and assist with the Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band and assist with administration of all OSU Bands. Teach beginning conducting and assist with all undergraduate instrumental conducting courses. Guest conduct the Orchestra and Mastersingers.

Responsibilities at the Middle School responsibilities include conducting 7th grade Band, teaching private and group lessons, assisting with after school Marching and Jazz Bands, conducting summer school band, and teaching 7th grade general music classes.
